Falcon IV Turf Type Tall Fescue

Falcon IV is a new and improved, heat and disease-resistant, tall fescue variety developed for superior turf quality across a wide area of adaptation. It is dark green in color, fine textured with excellent wear tolerance. Falcon IV exhibits a unique combination of traits, including dense growth, improved turf quality and resistance to brown patch incited by Rhizoctonia solani. Falcon IV is an endophyte-enhanced tall fescue with >92% Neotyphodium coenophialum endophyte, which provides resistance to a number of leaf and crown-feeding insects and nematodes. The presence of endophyte also contributes to improved biotic and abiotic stress tolerance, faster seedling establishment, enhanced fall recovery, and reduced summer weed invasion.

Update of review from last year

I ordered this and one other kind of turf type tall rescue planted last September sesd came out beautiful. The grass looks very nice. Couldn’t be happier. I just wish I knew what the other variety was. Lol

Falcon Fescue IV seed

I received the Falcon fescue IV seed. I have Aerated and fertilized and put the seed down and watered it thoroughly every day. Hopefully it will grow according to the plan??? To be Continued!!

Hi, I’d love to provide a review of the product, however, to see the growth of the grass after applying the seed, I could give a proper assessment. I will be ordering another bag. 50lbs is not enough. I have 3/4 acres. I gave this rating because the speed to which I received the product.
