    Over-coat seeding lawn

I have bought 2 six lb bags of zoysia seed in the past year. I’m over-seeding my zoysia lawn here in Sarasota, FL. I have friends that have perfect zoysia lawns but mine looks terrible. Maybe too much shade from oak trees, however, the grass doesn’t look good even in areas where there is enough sun. At over $200/bag, I’m questioning my strategy as I’m not seeing much germination yet. I’ve gad the oak trees thinned out to get more light. I’ll see what happens when spring arrives. That said, your service is fine. I order the bags and they arrive promptly.
