It’s time to start gardening.

It’s time to start thinking about gardening, but not everyone wants or needs acres of vegetables! The University of Florida IFAS Extension Service is presenting an educational program for those interested in learning about small hobby gardening. It will be held at the Walton County Extension Office in DeFuniak Springs on March 24th from 1:30 – 3:30 pm CST. Topics covered will include container gardening, aquaponics, insects and diseases, and weed control. Attendees will get a look at the Extension demonstration garden, greenhouse, and aquaponics setup. For more information, please contact the Walton County Extension Office at (850) 892-8172
