I ordered this item but received a different item. I received the bag spreader instead of the handheld spreader. It was also used because it had a strong smell of fertilizer.
This would be great just for seed. Unfortunately, we purchased 3 to see if they were any good for spreading fertilizer in areas we could not fit ride on spreader sprayers and the open/close mechanism only has 3 settings. The heaviest setting can’t shoot out fertilizer at the pace we need. What is great about the handle design is that you can unscrew it to get to the inside mechanisms in case of a clog in gears. Other models by other companies do not have this.
I ordered it, they sent it, I got it, did you think I have already ripped open the box, loaded it, and went out to use it the first day? It looks like plastic made in China, probably break in a few months, but I don't know maybe after I use the contraption, I'll let you know. Maybe Seed World could hit my inbox a couple weeks after delivery?
