A beautiful annual that make an excellent houseplant or summer bedding plant. It is also known as “Busy Lizzie” and its name is a Latin word that describes the way its seeds shoot out of its pods when ripe (the slightest touch can make a ripe impatiens seed pod burst open and scatter its seeds). Impatiens like shade and moisture.

Non GE/GMO
Annual for partial shade. Blooms all summer long in filtered light and semi-shade. Upright low growing plants produce exceptional flowers backed by delicate pointed leaves. This dwarf variety produces double camellia like blooms in a very wide range of bright colors. Non-genetically engineered seeds.

Culture: Can be started indoors February-April. Transplant after all danger of frost has passed. Outdoors, sow the seed thinly in light, well-drained, very humus-y rich soil. Pinch young plants to promote dense growth. Plants must be kept moist. Bait to prevent damage from snails and slugs. Tip: The ability to flower generously in shade, rare among flowers, has made impatiens a star annual from coast to coast.
