Even when conditions are less than ideal, the Titans are well known and valued for providing durable, attractive turf. Titan Rx turf-type tall fescue is the 4th generation Titan variety.
It continues the Titan legacy by combining all the excellent features of the previous parentage with further selections for improved color, even stronger resistance to brown patch, heat, drought and winter, and increased rhizome growth. Titan Rx also has excellent shade tolerance, making it a very versatile variety.
Titan Rx is heat tolerant, disease and pest resistant, and grows in both sun and shade. It features deep roots and more self-repairing rhizomes for better recovery and density.
Planting information: Sow seeds evenly at 7-10 pounds per 1,000 square feet. Rake lightly into soil. No more than 1/8 inch of soil should cover seed. Use a roller or other means to firmly pack the seeded soil.

This is my first time purchasing this item. I was not expecting to see growth as quickly as I have. I am very impressed and look forward to purchasing more.
I bought tight RX seeds from this company for several years and this year hardly any of the 75 pounds sprouted. I watered and covered with straw. It was just a complete failure. I also bought 25 pounds of a shady mix and use the same watering schedule and straw cover and all of the shady mix sprouted like you would expect
Aerated and top dressed yard with compost. Raked in Titan Rx and Ultra. Watered 3x daily with irrigation timer and never germinated. After 3 weeks I reseeded with the extra I had left and nothing. 2 weeks after that I bought some mix from home depot so my yard isn't a mud pit and the home depot seed is growing
This seed works really well in full sun and heat.
Cheap fescue from Menards took off wayyyy better than this expensive stuff. Won't be buying again
