Pramitol 5PS will make the ground bare where it is applied for a year or longer. This product is a nonselective herbicide and can be used in areas where vegetation is present or to continue keeping an area from growing vegetation. Pramitol 5PS uses water to move the active ingredients into the roots. Dry soil and no water could make Pramitol 5PS less effective.
This material works pretty well to keep weeds and grasses out of gravel driveway. They seem to work for about 8 months but are fairly expensive to use and too coarse to go through some spreaders smoothly.
