Mojave 70 EG Bareground Vegetation Control
Alligare Mojave 70 EG is a dispersible granule herbicide for long-lasting bareground vegetation control on industrial non-crop sites and rights-of-way.
Alligare Mojave 70 EG Bareground Herbicide is designed for tough industrial vegetation management programs that require both existing weed control and residual bareground performance. Its dual-active formula—Imazapyr 7.78% and Diuron 62.22%—helps control labeled annual and perennial grasses, broadleaf weeds, brush species, vines, and brambles in non-crop areas where bare ground is desired. The current Alligare label lists EPA Reg. No. 81927-25 for Mojave 70 EG.
Mojave 70 EG is intended for use on non-cropland and industrial sites such as railroad, utility, pipeline, and highway rights-of-way; utility plant sites; petroleum tank farms; pumping installations; fence rows; storage areas; farmyards; non-irrigation ditchbanks; and similar bareground locations. It may also be used under certain paved surfaces, including asphalt and pond liners, but only where the label permits and where desirable plant roots cannot encroach into the treated area.
This product fits both pre-emergence and post-emergence weed control programs. For annual weeds, the label indicates best results are typically achieved from late pre-emergence through early post-emergence timing. For perennial weeds, applications must be made after the target weeds have emerged, and post-emergence applications should include a spray adjuvant according to label directions.
