Snapshot specialty herbicide works around the clock for up to six to eight months to keep landscapes and container- and field-grown nursery ornamentals weed-free. It controls or suppresses more than 125 broadleaf weeds and annual grasses and can be used over the top of more than 635 labeled ornamentals. Snapshot is available in two easy-to-use granular formulations Snapshot 2.5 TG and Snapshot DG.

Application Rate
Depending on the weeds to be controlled, apply at the labeled rate: 2.3 to 4.6 lb. per 1,000 square feet (100 to 200 pounds per acre).
Application Timing
Apply prior to weed seed germination. Snapshot specialty herbicide can be applied in early spring, late summer to early fall, or any time immediately after cultivation.
Application Method
Apply Snapshot using a drop or rotary-type spreader (also known as a belly grinder fertilizer spreader) designed to apply granular herbicides or insecticides.

Snapshot is available in two easy-to-use granular formulations — Snapshot 2.5 TG and Snapshot DG specialty herbicides.

Been using this for two years now in my rock landscape . Still not weed one.
This is what professional landscapers use to control weeds and minimize labor. It's expensive, but it's much more effective than most any other pre-emergent on the market. Controls more weeds and lasts a fairly long time (9 months in rainy states, 12 months in dryer climates). You don't need to apply very much of it. Most people apply 2-3 times more than you need to. Get yourself a "Earthshaker" spreader by Earthway. Open it up to just 2.5 holes showing. And that's how much you need to apply. Just shake it over the ground. A 50 lb. bag will cover a pretty large amount of planting beds - more than most residential homes have these days.
Will continue to use this from now on. Wasted money on other products that didn't perform!
