Streptomycin Fungicide

Harbour Bactericide Fungicide Streptomycin is a purpose-built tool for growers who need reliable protection against stubborn bacterial diseases. This concentrated formula uses Streptomycin Sulfate (equivalent to 17% streptomycin) in a 22.4% active blend, delivering targeted control where fire blight and other bacterial threats threaten harvests and landscapes. Carefully labeled for use on fruit trees, potatoes, ornamentals, and related crops, it’s designed to slot into an integrated disease management plan with clear, crop-specific guidance.

What problems it solves

Fire blight in apple and pear trees, and related bacterial infections that threaten blossoms, shoots, and fruit development
Bacterial stem & leaf rot, bacterial spot, and bacterial blight that reduce vigor and yield
Bacterial wilt, crown gall, potato soft rot, and blackleg, diseases that compromise stored crops and field plants

Why this Harbour product stands out

Precise, antibiotic-based bacterial control: formulated to address a broad spectrum of common bacterial diseases in fruiting plants and potatoes, with a focus on protecting yields during vulnerable growth stages
Known legacy of efficacy: built around Streptomycin Sulfate to disrupt disease progression and support healthier canopies and roots
2 Lbs package designed for practical use on home gardens, orchards, and microfarms, allowing multiple targeted treatments per season
Label-supported flexibility: suitable for integration into established IPM plans, with crop-specific directions on when and how to apply for best results

Who it’s ideal for

Home gardeners and hobbyists with fruit trees (apples, pears, stone fruits) who want a proactive option against fire blight and related bacterial diseases
Small-to-mid-sized orchards and nurseries seeking a reliable tool to protect new growth and blossoms
Potato growers and landscape plant managers facing bacterial diseases that impact tubers and ornamental crops

How it works and practical use

Harbour Streptomycin delivers active ingredients that inhibit the growth of target bacterial pathogens, helping to preserve blooms, leaves, fruit set, and root health. Because bacterial diseases can spread rapidly under warm, humid conditions, timely, label-guided applications are essential as part of an overall disease management strategy.

Tips for best results

Read and follow the product label for crop-specific directions, timing, and safety instructions
Apply as part of an integrated program that includes sanitation and pruning to remove infected tissue
Coordinate applications with weather conditions to minimize drift and maximize leaf and bloom protection
Rotate disease management approaches over time to reduce the risk of pathogen resistance
Store and handle the product according to label guidelines to maintain potency and safety

Related considerations

This antibiotic-based bactericide, fungicide is designed for targeted control of bacterial diseases and should be used as part of a comprehensive crop protection plan. If you’re managing edible crops, ensure you’re compliant with local regulations and follow harvest intervals and residue considerations as outlined on the label. Harbour Bactericide Fungicide Streptomycin is positioned to support healthier canopies, stronger tubers, and preserved yield when used thoughtfully and in consultation with crop-specific guidance.
