Sandea is a selective herbicide for control of listed broadleaf weeds and nutsedge. Sandea is a dry flowable formulation and is effective both preemergence and postemergence. It can be absorbed thruogh roots, shoots, foliage and is translocated within the plant.

Sandea is a member of the sulfonylurea family, and is an ALS enzyme inhibiting herbicide. To minimize the potential for resistance development and/or to control weed biotypes, use a variety of cultural, mechanical, and chemical wed control tactics. Rotate with herbicides having different modes of action.

Rate of use: Between 0.5 - 2 ounces per acre depending on the crop being treated. See product label for full details. 
Sandea can be applied as a broadcast or band application. For band applications, use proportionally less spray mixture based on the area actually sprayed. Do not concentrate the band. Use of 15 or more gallons of water per acre is recommended unless otherwise directed in the Application Instructions on the product label listed below.
