Extremely popular perennial herb with leaves that have a strong, clove-like smell and flavor. They are excellent fresh or dry, with chowders, sauces, sea food dishes, stuffings, soups, meat and poultry. Grows 6″-12″ tall. Strong erect plants are useful ground covers in hot areas.
Harvest: Carefully cut fruit from plants when full size, but before they begin to soften.
