Pleurisy Root Butterfly Weed

Page’s NEW Butterfly Weed produce’s large 6″ clusters of vibrant flowers in shades of red, yellow, orange and bronze. They attract butterflies and are excellent for cutting. These heat and drought tolerant plants grow 3′ and need good drainage.  This perennial will enhance your landscape from July to September. Germination is erratic.

Culture: Sow seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before last frost. Grow in full sun and keep soil temperature in the mid-70's. Transplant to garden after soil has warmed.

Harvest: Carefully cut fruit from plants when full size, but before they begin to soften. 

Nutrition: Excellent source of vitamins A & C.
